Frequently Asked Questions

  • What kind of paper and inks will you be using?
  • Our prints are produced to a very high standard using Giclée printing to Fine Art Trade Guild standards. For more information on these standards please refer to the Fine Art Trade Guild website.

  • Will my print be produced to Fine Art Standards?
  • Yes all our prints are produced to Fine Art Trade Guild standards, our printers have to submit a lightfast sample every year to be Fine Art Trade Guild Approved.

  • Will my print be worth much in the future?
  • That really depends on the artist involved, but we have done everything we can to ensure the quality and intergrity of your investment. We have an agreement with each of the artists to ensure there are only ever the limited number of each print created in each edition.

  • How long does delivery usually take?
  • You can expect delivery of your print between 3-5 days after placing your order, although sometimes this can take longer. Your print will be created 'on-demand' especially for you. You should get an email confirming when your item is being sent to the printers and when you can expect delivery.

  • Can I send a print as a gift?
  • Yes most definately, we believe that a print makes an ideal and very original gift. You should be able to specify an alternative delivery address during the checkout procedure. If not please follow the checkout procedure as normal, then forward details of your order to support@apob.co.uk and we will endevour to deliver your print to the correct place.

  • What if I don't like my print?
  • Unfortunately each print is created 'on-demand' and as such as can't offer refunds or reproduce the print once it leaves our care. We also cannot be held responsible for items getting lost in the post.

  • How do I know this print is a real Limited Edition print?
  • We have agreements with all our artists ensuring the prints we are selling to you are indeed limited edition prints and no further prints will be created outside of the stated editions. This helps to ensure the best possible value for your print.

    We also provide a certificate of authenticity with every print sold. Each certificate is signed by the artist and the publisher, as well as being numbered individually to correspond with your print.

  • How many prints are in each edition?
  • That depends on the artwork, but editions usually range from 15 - 150 prints.
