Acrylic on Canvas - 51 x 40cm - I was inspired by this image while I was on Safari in 2006 with my wife. We both love Elephants and their gentle nature. Inspite of the Elephant's size, I wanted to introduce a sense of vulnerability in this piece by placing the lone wanderer against the harsh landscape of her habitat.
